Lake Forest Sportscars Concours d'Elegance 2017

A few weeks ago, I made the early Sunday morning drive up to Lake Forest Sportscars in Lake Bluff, IL for their annual Concours d'Elegance. A fitting end to summer on a humid 90 degree day full of sun. LFSC is an authorized Ferrari, Koenigsegg, Aston Martin, Lotus, and McLaren in the northern suburbs of Chicago. At this show however, the scarlet cars from Maranello were definitely the focus and there were some heavy hitters for sure including an F40, F50, Enzo, and a handful of LaFerraris along with four F12 TDFs and one of six Sergios in the world which rounded off the group of rarely-seen F cars that were in attendance. Also of note were a couple of Porsche 918s, a stunning black McLaren P1, and the real star of the day in my opinion was a white Koenigsegg One:1, only one of six in the world. This was a real impressive collections of some of the rarest cars in the world all here in one parking lot. A big thanks to the group at LFSC for putting everything together!
